Requirements

The purpose of the Co-Op/Internship is to provide exposure and experience in the insurance brokerage industry. This Co-Op/Internship is ideal for college students interested in pursuing a career in insurance brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Shadow employees in various service team functions. Includes Employee Benefits, Commercial Lines, Personal Risk Services, and insurance processes.
• Participate in internal team meetings.
• Participate in professional development seminars.
• Perform data analysis using multiple internal systems.
• Participate in virtual and in-person training to enhance knowledge of USI’s businesses.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college as a rising junior or senior.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Detailed oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and further professional development.
• Possess exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a defined sense of urgency.
• Able to deliver creative solutions to problems.
• Experience planning, creating, and delivering dynamic presentations.

Schedule

This is a hybrid work opportunity, Monday – Friday, with four days in the office and one day remote.
