New Business and Renewal Marketing

  • New Business marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting employee benefit lines
  • Renewal marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting assigned employee benefit accounts

New Business & Renewal Underwriting

  • Gathering missing enrollment information
  • All underwriting status follow up

Client Service

  • Work directly with group administrators to assist and educate on the proper administration procedures, State & Federal COBRA, additions & termination, and all other administrative procedures
  • Aid employees with unresolved claim issues while educating them on the claims processing system
  • Process daily mail, including faxes and e-mails, for assigned accounts
  • Answer and process all telephone requests for assigned accounts
  • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data on all assigned accounts
  • Maintain & annually update the electronic account files
  • Maintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence/requests

Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good technical knowledge of coverage in all benefits line’s insurance coverage
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Good organization and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to initiate and foster client rapport
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient with Office365 and/or Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Present a professional demeanor and attire while dealing with in person presentations and meetings

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain an active Florida 2-15 license in good standing
