Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. This role involves providing efficient and professional service to clients, colleagues, and producers. As the primary point of contact, you will handle benefit inquiries, resolve client requests, and determine the best solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player dedicated to elevating the entire client service experience.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time position working in our office located in Flower Mound, TX.
Professional Responsibilities
- Aid in managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, analyzing benefit offerings, providing solutions, and preparing renewal presentations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and lead educational sessions during Open Enrollment.
- Advise clients on benefit plan administration, compliance, funding options, and address inquiries related to benefits programs.
- Serve as the point of contact for Third-Party Administrators, and guide clients through the enrollment process.
- Provide ongoing support to maintain client relationships, prioritize tasks, and seek assistance to meet deadlines.
- Meet with clients to address insurance needs, ensure producers are informed of account status.
- Engage in professional development.
- Continuously build expertise in the employee benefits space to stay at the forefront of industry standards.
- Foster a growth mindset, focusing on both personal and team development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Life & Health Insurance license required.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Quick learner with a strong aptitude for technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.
- A team-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and success.
- Able to establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients and team members.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
