About the role

To prepare patients for and conduct standard electromyographic tests which measure muscle response and nerve conduction, collect information pertinent to the interpretation of the test, and assist in the maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program or six months experience required
  • Certification by American Association of Electromyographic Technicians or eligible preferred
  • Must obtain EMG certification within 1 year of job entry date
  • Basic Life Support certification

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training/experience
  • Less than 1 year of minimum required experience
