Emerging Technologies SkillBridge Program

About the role

This role supports mission-focused efforts across emerging technologies, operational analysis, engineering support, knowledge management, technical documentation, and defense modernization initiatives. Participants gain hands-on experience aligned to their background, operational experience, company priorities, and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Support operational analysis, research, and mission support activities
• Aid with technology assessments, data collection, and analytical efforts
• Analyze information to identify trends, risks, gaps, and operational considerations
• Support operational planning, knowledge management, and documentation activities
• Prepare reports, briefings, summaries, and written deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate across engineering, operational, and program support teams
• Assist with mission-focused initiatives aligned to defense modernization and emerging technologies
• Perform additional duties supporting operational and program objectives as assigned

Requirements

• Active-duty service member eligible for DoW SkillBridge participation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic operational environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar business tools
• Ability to work collaboratively across operational, technical, and administrative teams

Qualifications

• Experience supporting military operations, Joint planning, or defense-related activities
• Familiarity with technology assessment, operational analysis, knowledge management, or technical documentation
• Experience working across cross-functional or multi-stakeholder teams
• Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, innovation, or defense modernization initiatives

Pay

This opportunity is an unpaid SkillBridge internship in accordance with the Department of War SkillBridge program guidelines. Active-duty participants continue receiving military pay and benefits through their branch of service during program participation.

Schedule

Remote support opportunities may be available depending on role alignment and operational requirements.
