Emerging Store Manager

About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Engages customers and resolves complaints.
• Safeguards store assets and improves sales and profitability.
• Leads and manages store team members, including coaching and training.
• Ensures proper merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Monitors customer service and implements improvements.
• Supports external partnerships and collaborates with Store Manager.
• Manages store operations, including scheduling, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Improves overall customer service metrics.
• Manages team member performance and development.
• Ensures store cleanliness and safety.
• Communicates with team members and supports the Store Manager.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Full-time position. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Completion of Walgreens LEAP program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid pharmacy technician license (if applicable).

• Knowledge of store operations and compliance requirements.

Pay

$45,000 - $71,550 annually.

Schedule

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
