Emerging Store Manager

About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Engages customers and resolves complaints.
• Safeguards store assets and improves sales and profitability.
• Monitors and coaches team members.
• Ensures proper merchandising, cash management, inventory, and safety.
• Supports external partnerships and pharmacy operations.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Analyzes financial and performance data.
• Trains and mentors team members.
• Communicates with team members and supports the Store Manager.
• Manages promotions and hires.
• Trains and obtains pharmacy technician license.

Requirements

Full-time position. Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or satisfactory completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program.
• Two years of supervisory experience (for those without a degree).
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to relocate to a different store location.

$45,000 - $71,550
