About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
  • Engages customers and resolves complaints.
  • Monitors and improves customer service metrics.
  • Schedules and manages team member activities.
  • Ensures store operations run smoothly, including cash management, inventory, and repairs.
  • Trains and coaches team members.
  • Ensures store cleanliness and safety.
  • Communicates with team members and supports the Pharmacy during busy periods.
  • Analyzes financial and performance data to improve store operations.
  • Learns and implements new initiatives.
  • Manages team member performance and development.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Completes special assignments as needed.

Requirements

Full-time position requiring flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Completion of Walgreens LEAP training program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Valid pharmacy technician license (if applicable).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Knowledge of store operations and compliance requirements.
