About the role
Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
- Engages customers and resolves complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Monitors and coaches customer service, develops plans for improvement, and empowers team members to resolve customer issues.
- Safeguards store assets, improves sales and profitability, and leads team member training.
- Ensures store cleanliness, responds to emergencies, and manages repairs and maintenance.
- Trains and supervises team members in using computer and technology systems.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and laws, including security protocols.
- Completes special assignments and supports pharmacy operations during busy periods.
- Analyzes financial and performance data, creates action plans, and engages the team to improve store performance.
- Communicates with team members through regular one-on-one discussions and group meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including professional ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
- Completion of Walgreens Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
- Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to relocate to a different store location if promoted.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and two years of supervisory experience.
- Valid pharmacy technician license, if required by state.

Schedule
