Emerging Store Manager

About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Assists the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Engages customers and resolves complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Monitors and improves store sales and profitability.
• Safeguards store assets and enforces safety protocols.
• Ensures proper merchandising and inventory management.
• Supports external partnerships and collaborates with district managers.
• Manages cash flow, registers, and performs audits.
• Trains and coaches team members on inventory and technology systems.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains a clean, presentable store environment.
• Communicates with team members and supports the Store Manager in strategic planning.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Full-time position requiring flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be fluent in English and willing to relocate if needed. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience, or completion of a Walgreens Community Internship Program.
• Completion of the Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
• Strong communication and business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
