Emerging Leader Development Associate

About the role

This role is designed as a fast track into the business, offering direct P&L ownership within two years. The focus is on understanding the financial architecture of a multi-site laboratory business, running meaningful projects, and building the judgment needed to eventually run a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business and its financials within 90 days, walking senior leaders through the P&L statements and identifying opportunities.
• Manage financial reporting accurately, on time, and in a way that provides insights and helps decision-making.
• Drive high-visibility projects by being prepared, moving things forward, and holding stakeholders accountable.
• Earn consistent access to senior leadership through added value, insightful questioning, and follow-through.
• Develop operational competencies such as pricing strategy, customer proposal analysis, budget management, and cost recovery.
• Represent Eurofins effectively in all settings, demonstrating competence and building relationships that matter.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• At least 3-5 years of experience showing real ownership and growth, not just tenure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage up and down, comfortable with both C-suite and lab floor interactions.
• Strong analytical instincts and high emotional intelligence.
• Self-directed and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and willing to build as you go.

Qualifications

• Laboratory operations and project management experience.
