Emergency Services Technician
About the role
The Emergency Services Technician at MultiCare supports patient care and administrative tasks, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by healthcare practitioners
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and aesthetically pleasing environment
- Deliver nursing care using the nursing process based on hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C, or successful completion of EMT Training Course
- MA-P or EMT must obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire
- CNA, NA-R, or EMT must obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations do not require MA-PC
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred

Pay and Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $21.77 - $32.58 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications.
