Emergency Services Technician

About the role

The Emergency Services Technician at MultiCare supports patient care and administrative tasks, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by healthcare practitioners
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process based on hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C, or successful completion of EMT Training Course
• MA-P or EMT must obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire
• CNA, NA-R, or EMT must obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations do not require MA-PC
• Current BLS Certification
• Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred

Pay and Benefits
