Emergency Services Tech (EMT) - Per Diem - Days - 12hr FPH

About the role

The Emergency Services Tech (EST) performs patient care and patient care-related activities under the supervision of an RN/LVN/MD. Performs other support functions involving equipment supplies/environmental maintenance. The EST may handle/deliver IV solutions or instrument trays that contain medications in the process of setting up for procedures.

Requirements

• Current California EMT certification
• BLS required
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer
• New hires who have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year of pre-hospital experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required
