EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN (PT NIGHTS)

About the Role

West Henderson Hospital is the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System, located near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital provides care for a variety of medical needs, including:

• Emergency care, 24/7
• Advanced cardiac services, including cardiac catheterization labs
• Interventional radiology lab for diagnosis and treatment
• Neurology care
• Surgical procedures (general surgery, orthopedics, and weight loss)
• Gastroenterology/endoscopy procedures
• Advanced imaging
• Laboratory services
• Respiratory services
• Inpatient nursing

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or arrhythmia test given by the Education Department preferred
• Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course
• Current BCLS certification required
• Approved Crisis Management Course required
• Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred
• IV Certification preferred
