Job Summary
The Emergency Room Technician supports safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. You will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care as delegated by the RN and Medical Staff.
- Maintains and records vital signs, observes patients' condition, and reports any changes to the nursing or medical staff.
- Performs and documents general therapeutic/diagnostic measures.
- Assists with patient transport and updates the Emergency Department Tracking Board/Care Manager (EDTB).
Requirements
- High School Graduate, or High School GED, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR certification, within 14 days.
- One (1) year of previous Emergency Room experience preferred.
Preferred
- Previous Emergency Room experience.

Pay
The posted compensation range is $15.00 - $21.08 /hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
