Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the ER.
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EMR.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Assist in developing and meeting department KPIs and performance metrics.
• Demonstrate accountability for own performance and outcomes within the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance patient throughput.
• Maintain on-site readiness through stock checks and credentialed equipment maintenance.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.

Requirements

• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years ER or acute care nursing experience.
• Proficient EMR documentation with accurate patient assessments and outcomes.
• Triage proficiency with rapid decision-making and acuity-based prioritization.
• Medication administration per protocol with monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Collaborative communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to meet department KPIs and contribute to throughput improvements.
• Strong patient and family education skills for discharge planning.
• On-site readiness with equipment maintenance and stock management.
• Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and learning mindset aligned with growth goals.
