Emergency Room Physician (ER)

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care to patients with acute conditions or trauma in the ER.
• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and establish accurate diagnoses.
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients using emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain detailed medical records, document patient information, and make timely decisions on admissions, discharges, or referrals.
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license in any U.S. state.
• Minimum of two years' recent practice experience, including residency.
• Completion of postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine or related primary care specialty.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and DEA registration.
• Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with medical advancements.
