About the role

Emergency Room Nurse Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations, staffing, and quality of patient care in the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Manage staffing, hiring, training, and staff development.
• Oversee patient care delivery, providing support and expertise to staff.
• Ensure workflow efficiency, safety procedures, and department goals are maintained.
• Address patient, visitor, and physician concerns professionally.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and collaborate with other departments to improve care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state or a compact state.
• Minimum one year of hospital leadership experience, including ER experience.
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and NVCI within 6 months; TNCC and PALS within 1 year.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
