About the role
Join a vital medical team providing life-saving care during critical moments as an Emergency Room/Trauma Nurse in the Army.
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line emergency care for Soldiers and their families in diverse settings, from forward units to fixed facilities.
- Performing assessments, diagnoses, planning, intervention, and evaluation of human responses to physical or psychosocial problems in episodic or acute situations.
- Delivering compassionate, competent care through education, research, and collaboration with expert emergency nurses.
- Training in critical care trauma nursing, enroute care, and medical-surgical skills across various environments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and current, unrestricted nursing license.
- Completion of Emergency Nursing Course or waiver request for experience documentation.
- U.S. citizenship for active duty or U.S. residency for Army Reserve.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
Key Duties
- Assessing and managing patients under stressful conditions.
- Providing emergency and trauma care across a continuum of care settings.
- Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices.
