About the role

Support our free-standing emergency rooms as an Emergency Room Float Pool Nurse, providing direct patient care within the RN scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and communicate conditions using electronic systems
• As a charge nurse, lead daily operations, assign staff based on acuity, serve as a clinical resource, and respond to physician and staff requests
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Participate in performance improvement
• Uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• RN licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS within 6 months
• At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience
