Emergency Room - Health Unit Coordinator - (FT)

About the role

Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department. The Health Unit Coordinator provides indirect patient care consistent with the units standards of care. Facilitates communication needs of patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff as needed as well as preparing/compiling patient records through the use of various computer programs.

Schedule

• FT Day Shift 6am-6pm (3) 12 hour shifts
• Variable Days
• Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge
• Medical terminology is preferred
• Communication skill verbal and phone

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year of experience in a health care setting preferred
