Emergency Roadside Tech Commercial Tire - East Walpole, MA

About the role

The role of the Roadside Technician position in our company can be broken down into one sentence: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.”

Responsibilities

• Dispatched to customers’ locations to repair or change tires when a tire-related failure occurs.
• Help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed during non-service call periods.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all other safety policies and procedures.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay range: $23.00 - $26.00 Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
• Shift Information: Mandatory on-call rotation with double-time pay for after-hours service calls.
