About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Web Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating user-friendly, accessible websites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom websites for veterinary practices
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices
• Ensure website accessibility and compliance with WCAG guidelines
• Optimize websites for search engines
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep websites running smoothly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional web development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Joomla
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web design trends and best practices
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular
• Understanding of back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with database management and SQL
