Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Conducting interviews and obtaining psychosocial histories
- Collaborating with medical staff
- Developing disposition plans
- Documenting assessments
- Cooking post-discharge care coordination
- Communicating findings to the healthcare team
- Referring patients to appropriate community resources or protective services
- Aiding in inpatient admissions
- Informing staff on psychiatric protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Current Maryland LCSW, LCPC, or Psychology license
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, communication, and documentation skills
