Emergency Medicine - PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Draper)
About the Role
PRN opportunities are available at St. Mark’s and Lone Peak hospitals. Lone Peak Hospital is a 32-plus-bed facility with 10-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and single physician shifts. CarePoint is a physician-owned group that formed in 1996, providing staffing to HCA, Centura Health system, and Mountain West Medical Center emergency departments. Clinicians are hired into divisions serving facilities in an assigned geographical area. The Utah-Idaho-Montana division currently employs 211 physicians and 80 APPs.
Facilities
- Lone Peak Hospital (Draper, Utah): Daily census of 43-45 patients/day
- St. Mark’s Hospital (SMH): Volume of 115 patients/day
Qualifications
- Active PA/NP license
- Prior ER experience is encouraged or preferred
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, APP with a single physician
- Shift requirements: 1-8 shifts/month
Pay
$75 per hour, variable based on experience
