About the role

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led, patient-first medical group grounded in the belief that better support for clinicians leads to better care for patients. Our emergency medicine teams are empowered to lead care locally with the backing of a strong national network committed to clinical excellence, intentional leadership development, and collaborative partnership. At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers. The facility is a Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with a 21‑bed ED, 6 fast‑track beds, and 14 ICU beds, seeing an annual volume of 24,440 visits with a 10.8% admission rate and 1.5% transfer rate. On‑site leadership includes a local medical director who knows the community and owns department performance, supported by Sound’s leadership‑development tools. Teams are stable and well‑staffed, aligned on a patient‑first culture of excellence, reducing reliance on premium temporary labor and providing predictable shifts. Located in Kennewick, WA—one of the Tri‑Cities (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)—the area offers rich agriculture and beautiful wine country, plenty of sunshine with little precipitation for mild four seasons, three major rivers and nearby mountain ranges for outdoor recreation, wineries and vineyards, river recreation, fishing, golf, and entertainment events year‑round, excellent schools for raising a family, and easy access to the larger metropolitan areas of Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland, Oregon.
