Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

Emergency Medicine (EM) physician providing locum coverage in a facility located 1.5 hours from Portland, OR. The role involves covering 4-8 night shifts per month, working solo from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Charting is done using EPIC.

Expected patient volume is approximately 2 patients per hour, with a case load of around 2.6 hours per patient per day and an annual patient volume of 23,000.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care across all ages in an on-site setting
• Manage a diverse patient population
• Exercise prescriptive authority
• Collaborate with support staff including MAs and RNs

Requirements

• Credentialing process may take 70-90 days
• No call requirements or board certification needed

Schedule

4-8 night shifts per month, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
