Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

Board-Certified MD providing outpatient clinical coverage during day and night shifts. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Respond to floor and ICU codes as needed
• Provide high-quality outpatient care within a Level IV Trauma facility with a Level III NICU
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and patient safety standards
• Work with a variable case load and patient population of all ages
• Collaborate with support staff including APPs, nurses, and RNs in an on-site setting

Requirements

• Board certification in emergency and acute care settings
• Experience in emergency and acute care settings
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), ATLS, Medical Command Physician Certification, NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Schedule

12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
