About the role
Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician in a Level IV Trauma Center near Simonton, TX.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to approximately 25,000 annual ED visits, covering 12 beds
- Work solo with 2 Advanced Practice Providers during the day and with 1 physician and 1 APP at night
- Offer comprehensive emergency services, including heart attack and stroke care, utilizing accredited centers and rapid response protocols
- Ensure effective treatment for critical conditions
- Collaborate with EMS
- Participate in a supportive team environment
Key Duties
- Manage emergency cases efficiently
- Participate in advanced trauma and cardiac/stroke protocols
- Contribute to patient outcomes through prompt assessment and treatment in a state-of-the-art facility
Qualifications & Skills
- Board Eligible/Certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM or ABEOM
- Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine, cardiac, and stroke care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
