About the role
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a facility in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Managing high-acuity cases
- Performing procedures such as intubations, central line placement, ultrasound use, OB deliveries, dislocation reductions, chest tube insertions, trauma care, and laceration repairs
Schedule
- Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- No call duties
Requirements
- ABEM-certified
- Active Texas medical license or in process
- DEA dedicated to locum use
Facility details
- Support staff includes APP coverage for 9 hours daily
- Average patient census: 45, with 10% admissions
- Typically one EM physician per shift
