About the role
St. Mary’s General Hospital is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for full-time, part-time, and per diem positions. Work alongside an experienced team of EM physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff in a collaborative, patient-first culture.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate: $190–$225/hr, based on experience
- Additional RVU-based productivity compensation
- Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply (details discussed during the interview process)
Schedule
- Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights
- Full-time, part-time, and per diem options available

Hospital & ED Overview
- 287-bed facility in downtown Passaic with 30,000–35,000 annual ED visits

- Epic EMR (or Cerner, depending on implementation timing)
Location
Located in Passaic, NJ, just 30 minutes from NYC – offering easy access to city life with suburban convenience.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active or eligible New Jersey medical license
- Current DEA and CDS certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Strong communication skills and team-first mentality
