Emergency Medicine Physician

Role Overview: Seeking physicians and advanced practice providers to staff the Emergency Department at a community hospital in Northeast Alabama. The role involves providing emergency care in a 25-bed ED with approximately 28,000 annual visits, utilizing EPIC EMR and M-Modal dictation. Key Responsibilities: Deliver emergency medical services during 12-hour shifts, including day and night schedules.Manage patient admissions, coordinate with hospitalist teams, and provide acute care.Work in a facility with comprehensive inpatient services such as surgery, cardiology, neurology, and geri-psych.Maintain high-quality patient care aligned with hospital protocols and standards. Qualifications & Skills: Active Alabama medical license or ability to obtain one.Physicians require ABEM or AOBEM certification/eligibility, or minimum 2 years ER experience with ABIM/AOBIM or ABGS, or 1,000+ hours ER experience with EM Fellowship and ABFM/ABOFM certification.APPs (PA or FNP) must have ≥2 years ER experience and be BE/BC, with active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
