Emergency Medicine Physician
HCA Houston Healthcare ER 24/7 (Fry Road), a freestanding emergency department, is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Cypress, Texas.
About the role
This position is at a 12-bed freestanding emergency department with an annual volume of 5,000 patients (approximately 20 patients per day). The facility has a low EMS volume and uses Meditech as its EMR system. Shifts are available in 12 or 24-hour increments.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions, including allergic reactions, broken bones, chest pain, and serious infections
- Utilize hospital-grade diagnostic imaging technology and on-site laboratory services
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (residency-trained)
- Family Practice and Internal Medicine boarded providers with Emergency Medicine experience are also accepted
- Certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and PALS (if not Emergency Medicine boarded)
