About the role
The Physician Associate will provide high-quality emergency medical care during night shifts, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients presenting to the emergency department. The clinician will work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions, with a caseload of 8-14 patients per day. Effective patient handoffs and clear communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are required outside of scheduled night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients presenting to the emergency department
- Collaborate with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions
- Work with RNs to support the patient population
- Clear communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams
- No call responsibilities outside of scheduled night shifts
Requirements
- Board Certification Required: Negotiable
- Case Load/PPD: 8-14 PPD

Qualifications
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
