About the role

This role is for an Emergency Medicine Physician Associate providing clinical coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings at a facility with a 20-bed emergency department and 12-bed ICU. The position involves managing emergency cases across all age groups, with a typical caseload of approximately 91 patients per day. Certifications are negotiable, and prescriptive authority is not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage emergency presentations in a high-volume facility
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation during shifts
• Work across various shift times, including weekends
• Provide coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Operate without call responsibilities

Requirements

• Board certification (negotiable)
• Strong clinical assessment and management skills
• Ability to work independently across shifts
• Experience with emergency cases across all age groups preferred
