Emergency Medicine - Physician Assistant

About the role

Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, PLLC (MEMA) is recruiting experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their team. Established in 1976, MEMA is a fast-growing, independently owned, and managed emergency medicine practice that staffs the emergency departments of five hospitals for Novant Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Document patient encounters and treatments

Requirements

• Current PA license in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine
• Experience in Urgent Care may be considered

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Passing score on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)

Pay

Compensation is competitive and includes night and holiday incentives, productivity-based bonuses, and a dashboard bonus.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on the new hospital opening and additional shifts at existing locations.
