About the role

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth, a part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system, is seeking a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Longwood Specialty Physicians at its site in Plymouth, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Manage Fast Track and BHU patients.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant
• Massachusetts state licensure
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required
• Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center
• Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages
