Emergency Medicine NP/PA APP

Wake Forest Emergency Providers is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join its team in North Carolina as part of Advocate Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit integrated health systems. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to practice emergency medicine within a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the community.

The Atrium Health Cabarrus Emergency Department in Concord, NC provides compassionate, high‑quality emergency care for patients of all ages with life‑threatening injuries, illnesses, and acute medical conditions, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Based primarily at Atrium Cabarrus Medical Center, a Level III trauma center with 40 emergency department beds.
• Mainly support emergency medicine care at Cabarrus, with some rotation or “flow” to the freestanding emergency departments in Kannapolis and Harrisburg.
• Work locations include Greater Charlotte, NC; Concord, NC; Kannapolis, NC; and Harrisburg, NC.
• Cabarrus County staffing: 33 full‑time physicians and 22 full‑time APPs.
