Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Benefit from flexible administrative positions that cater to individual preferences and career goals.
  • Collaborate with fellow clinicians, taking on leadership opportunities to develop new team models and mentor new team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and initiatives, driving high-quality care and advancing our mission to improve bedside care.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
  • ABEM or AOBEM eligible/certified.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Flexibility

  • Enjoy the convenience of block scheduling, allowing for a better work-life balance.
  • Shift Lengths vary between 8-12 hours.

Compensation & Additional Benefits

  • Comprehensive rewards with W2 compensation at $325 per hour and a $124,800 stipend.
  • Annual CME allowance.

  • Practicing: Start your journey as a practicing clinician, focused on delivering exceptional patient care while building foundational leadership skills.
  • Single-site Leadership: Step into leadership at the practice level as an Associate Medical Director or Medical Director. In these roles, you’ll guide clinical teams, collaborate with hospital partners, and ensure operational and clinical excellence at a single site.
  • Multi-site Leadership: Expand your impact by overseeing multiple practices as a System Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, or Regional Chief Medical Officer. These roles involve strategic leadership, mentoring physician leaders, and driving performance across a region.
