Emergency Medicine Faculty - Level 1 Trauma

About the role

The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno in conjunction with Inspire Health Medical Group is seeking additional core, full time faculty members.

Responsibilities

• Patient care at Community Regional Medical Center’s emergency department
• Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants
• Supporting the emergency medicine residency program established in 1974
• Medical direction for the National Parks Service
• Participation in leadership roles within the fields of Ultrasound, EMS, and Research

Requirements

• Board certified (or board eligible in the process of obtaining board certification) in Emergency Medicine
• Active California medical license or eligibility to apply for one

Qualifications

• Subspecialty expertise is preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to teach and mentor medical students and residents

Pay

$225,000-$310,000 depending on qualifications and experience
