About the Role
The University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) is seeking Emergency Physicians for a 2–4 week locum opportunity (or portion thereof). UHNBC is a Level 3 trauma centre that sees approximately 47,000 emergency room visits per year, with double physician coverage 24/7.
Emergency physicians at UHNBC play an active role in the education of both medical students and residents. UHNBC is the largest acute care facility in Northern Health and is the referral centre for all communities across northern BC.

A full complement of specialist services is available at this site, as well as diagnostic services including both MRI and two CT scanners.

Compensation
Compensation Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement. Estimated remuneration to be discussed.
Benefits and Incentives
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Retention Premium: 12.6%
- Retention Flat Fee: $19,121
