About the role
HCA TriStar SpringHill Freestanding Emergency Department is seeking a full‑time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Medicine team in Nashville, TN. The position is based at the TriStar Spring Hill Freestanding Emergency Room located on the TriStar Medical Park campus in Spring Hill, Tennessee, north of Saturn Parkway, just off of Kedron Road. The facility provides 24/7/365 adult and pediatric emergency care, private patient rooms, advanced testing and imaging technology, full laboratory services, a staff pharmacist, helipad for expedited transport, and telehealth technology connecting patients with specialists for real‑time evaluation.
Spring Hill is a rapidly growing suburban city about 30 miles south of Nashville, spanning Maury and Williamson counties. Originally an agricultural community founded in 1809 and the site of a notable Civil War battle in 1864, it remained small until the 1980s when General Motors opened a major manufacturing plant, spurring rapid growth. Today Spring Hill has a population exceeding 50,000 and offers modern amenities, parks, and local historic sites.
Requirements
- Board Certified or eligible for board certification in Emergency Medicine (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
- Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Tennessee medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
- No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
- Current unrestricted DEA registration or willingness to obtain one
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the requirements above; prior experience in a freestanding emergency department or high‑acuity emergency setting is preferred.
