About the Role

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is searching for a PRN Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant) to join our practice in Englewood, Florida.

Requirements

• Board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• At least 12 months of current and consecutive Emergency Medicine experience as an APP
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications

Responsibilities

Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with the following features:

• 22,000 annual ED volume
• 18-bed ED with 12 fast-track treatment chairs
• Single Physician coverage (7A-7P, 7P-7A)
• Average 10-12-hour/day APP coverage
• EMR: P-Doc Documentation and Meditech with M*Modal Dictation
