TeamHealth is seeking a full-time physician assistant or family nurse practitioner at Griffin Hospital emergency department in Derby, Connecticut. Candidates should have experience as an advanced practice clinician in emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with physicians and advanced practice clinicians
• Level III trauma designation
• 23 private ED beds
• Dedicated ED ultrasound unit
• Annual ED volume 40,000
• Fast track

• Well-balanced 10-hour and 11-hour shift times

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as an advanced practice clinician in emergency medicine
• Current licensure to practice in Connecticut
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA license

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Family Nurse Practitioner
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA license
