About the Role
TeamHealth is seeking an experienced advanced practice clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic emergency department team at Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke Lifepoint facility in western North Carolina.
- Provide care in fast-track and main ED settings
- Manage medium- to high-acuity patients confidently and independently
- Collaborate with a seasoned, well-supported emergency medicine team

Requirements
- Prior experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
- Strong clinical skills and comfort in a high-volume environment
- Active ACLS and PALS certifications
About the Location
Haywood Regional Medical Center is located in Haywood County, the third largest county in Western North Carolina and home to 14 peaks with elevations of at least 6,000 feet—more than any other area east of the Mississippi. The hospital is licensed for 154 beds and offers a comprehensive array of services, including orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and 11 multi-specialty physician clinics.
The campus in Clyde also includes the Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center (54,000 sq. ft.) and the Outpatient Care Center (44,000 sq. ft.), which houses an outpatient surgery center, laboratory, imaging center, and physician practices.
