About the role
Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our dynamic team. This position offers competitive pay rates and benefits, including a sign-on bonus and referral program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
- Be flexible with your work schedule, which operates on a 24-hour clock.
- Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
- Operate and drive the ambulance safely, adhering to all applicable State and Regional Regulations.
- Maintain rig cleanliness and prepare for patient transport.
- Submit pre-hospital patient care reports and respond promptly to assignments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned during the Pilot Program.
Qualifications
- Valid NY State EMT certification.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
- Successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test.
Pilot Program
The Pilot Program requires:
- $26 per hour for full-time positions.
- Availability to work Pilot Program shifts.
- All required certifications.
- Completion of additional duties and meeting additional requirements.

Schedule
- Shifts: 9 - 10 hours shifts.
- FT Hours: 36 - 40 hours per week.
