Emergency Medical Technician - EMT

About the role

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our dynamic team. This position offers competitive pay rates and benefits, including a sign-on bonus and referral program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible with your work schedule, which operates on a 24-hour clock.
• Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Operate and drive the ambulance safely, adhering to all applicable State and Regional Regulations.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and prepare for patient transport.
• Submit pre-hospital patient care reports and respond promptly to assignments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned during the Pilot Program.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State EMT certification.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
• Successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test.

Pilot Program

The Pilot Program requires:

• $26 per hour for full-time positions.
• Availability to work Pilot Program shifts.
• All required certifications.
• Completion of additional duties and meeting additional requirements.

Schedule

• Shifts: 9 - 10 hours shifts.
• FT Hours: 36 - 40 hours per week.
• PT Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week.
