Emergency Medical Technician - EMT

Exceptional by DocGo is expanding its health care environment in New Jersey. As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in transporting and caring for clients across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible with your work schedule, which operates on a 24-hour clock.
• Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Operate and drive the ambulance safely, following all relevant regulations and laws.
• Assume responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the ambulance.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports promptly.
• Respond to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• NJ EMT State License, or NREMT (minimum).
• Valid NJ Driver’s License for at least 2 years and an acceptable driving record.
• Valid Provider BLS certification.
• Able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
• Successfully complete the company's orientation and training.
• High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pass a Physical Aptitude Test.
