Emergency Medical Technician - EMT

About the role

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our dynamic team. This position offers competitive pay rates and benefits, with a pilot program option for full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible with your work schedule, which operates on a 24-hour clock.
• Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Operate and drive the ambulance safely, following all applicable regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the ambulance and prepare pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Transport patients according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned during the pilot program.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State EMT certification.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
• Successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test.

Pilot Program

The Ambulnz by DocGo Pilot Program is open to full-time new hires who meet the following criteria:

• $26 per hour rate.
• Must be able to work available Pilot Program shifts.
• All required certifications must be obtained.
• Additional duties and requirements must be met to qualify and remain in the Pilot Program.

Schedule

• Shifts: 9 - 10 hours shifts.
• FT Hours: 36 - 40 hours per week.

Pay

EMT pay rate: $21 - $23 per hour (Pilot Program: $26 per hour)

Schedule

Shifts: 9 - 10 hours shifts
FT Hours: 36 - 40 hours per week
PT Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week
