Responsibilities

Response Cadre
Include:
• Willing and able to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.
• An understanding of the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents.
• The ability to provide summary products for leadership.
• Researching complex issues and presenting outcomes and insights to a supervisor or large audience.
• Implementing incident objectives with a diverse set of agencies and stakeholders.
• The ability to remain calm and poised under pressure, work successfully on multiple priorities simultaneously, and remain focused when working under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Response Cadre Include:
• A bachelor’s degree or a higher level degree.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s operational tempo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials.

Pay

Salary Range of $70,000-$110,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
