Emergency Hire - Office Support and Programs Analyst - Culture and Institutional Excellence
About the role
Support budget-related tasks of the implementation of the program including working with budget tracking sheets.
Process payments for speakers, vendors, and faculty fellows.
Process contracts via Cal Poly systems to add vendors to our system.
Perform scheduling of individual and group meetings and arrange appropriate details (room reservation, catering, materials, etc.).
Absorb customer service by answering phones, sitting at the front desk, and assisting with general inquiries from students, faculty, and staff.
Absorb ability to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Absorb comfort in calling vendors and placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
Absorb assistance with data cleanup and management related to attendance at events.
Absorb support with writing and development of templates for annual reports.
Absorb support with administrative functions of the office by using preferred office communication and management platforms such as Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, etc.
Absorb other light clerical work and related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. One year of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Pay
Anticipated Hiring Range: $27.69 - $30.57 Per Hour
Classification Range: $27.69 - $40.34 Per Hour
